The WiiM Ultra is a flexible network audio streamer and digital preamplifier designed to be a central component in home audio setups. It enhances existing Hi-Fi systems by introducing high-resolution wireless streaming capabilities, a 3.5-inch colour touchscreen, and a comprehensive range of physical connections.

This device functions as both a digital and analogue preamplifier, enabling direct connection to active speakers or a separate power amplifier. For optimal sound, it incorporates an ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M DAC, capable of handling audio up to 24-bit/192kHz. The integrated RoomFit™ acoustic calibration uses a smartphone microphone to adjust audio output for your specific listening space.

Connectivity is extensive, with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for both streaming and transmission. Physical inputs include HDMI ARC for TV audio, a dedicated Phono MM input for turntables, Optical In, RCA Line In, and USB-A. Outputs comprise Stereo RCA, Coaxial, Optical, a dedicated Subwoofer Out with bass management, and a front-mounted headphone jack.
