Designed with a solid-state circuit featuring 18 transistors, this amplifier provides a frequency response extending from 20 Hz to 60 kHz. It is suitable for speaker loads ranging from 4 to 16 ohms, making it a versatile choice for various speaker setups.
Connectivity includes a phono input for turntables with moving magnet cartridges, a microphone input, and auxiliary line-level inputs. The AU-101 also features tape monitoring and recording capabilities, with both pin and DIN connectors available for tape decks. The unit presents with a black fascia and complementary wooden side panels.
