This Technics SU-Z55 is a vintage integrated stereo amplifier from the early 1980s, offering a blend of classic design and functional audio reproduction. It has a central fluorescent display for monitoring peak power output, characteristic of Technics' separates from that era.

Designed for home audio systems, the SU-Z55 delivers 40 watts per channel into 8-ohm speakers. It provides a range of analogue inputs, including a dedicated phono stage for turntables, alongside inputs for tuners, auxiliary sources, and two tape decks. This makes it a versatile centrepiece for a retro hi-fi setup.

The amplifier features straightforward tone controls for bass and treble, allowing for subtle adjustments to suit your preferences.
