It has been professionally repackaged to ensure safe delivery with mains cable, RCA and grounding leads included.

This has been tested and is in full working order. It is sold with a 3 month warranty.

The general cosmetic condition is fair. There are a number of marks and scratches on the lid of the unit. Please see images for further details.

The Technics SL-L1 is a vintage direct-drive turntable from the 1980s, known for its straightforward operation and reliable performance. Its direct-drive system ensures a stable platter speed, while the linear tracking tonearm moves in a straight line across the record, minimising distortion.

This fully automatic deck simplifies the vinyl listening experience. Simply place your record and press start, and the SL-L1 will automatically detect the record size, set the correct speed, and gently lower the stylus. At the end of the side, it automatically lifts the tonearm and returns it to its rest, powering down afterwards.

Operation is convenient thanks to the closed-lid controls located on the front panel. These allow you to manage playback functions such as power, cueing, start, and stop without exposing the record to dust. The unit outputs a standard phono signal, requiring connection to a phono preamplifier or a suitable amplifier input.
