A vintage graphic equaliser, which was inspired by the SH 8065, boasting 34 independent elements on both left and right channels. It features a unique variable equaliser, allowing precise adjustments of the low-frequency range, including centre frequency, resonance peak Q, and band level, for enhanced sound quality.

Divided into 33 bands on each side spanning from 16 Hz to 25 kHz, this equaliser offers granular control with 1/3 octave steps, facilitated by 33 sliders that visualise the frequency curve. Paired with the Graphic Equaliser Checker SH-8000, it enables accurate system-wide and individual component adjustments, sound field correction, and personalised audio tuning.

Exclusive to this model is a variable equaliser for low frequencies, offering continuous adjustment from 20 Hz to 400 Hz, with Q values ranging from 0.7 to 7. By preemptively eliminating standing waves, it optimises the effectiveness of the 1/3 octave band graphic equaliser, serving as a low-frequency correction tool or a rumble filter for unwanted ultra-low frequencies.

Utilising semiconductor inductors alongside operational amplifier ICs, resistors, and capacitors, each band-pass filter maintains coil-like characteristics while ensuring low noise and high performance. Employing a constant Q method, the equaliser guarantees consistent resonance sharpness across all bands, minimising interference between adjacent channels and facilitating precise adjustments at any level position.
