These Technics SB-CS50 are a pair of 2-way, 2-driver bookshelf speakers, utilising a sealed cabinet design. Originally released in the early 1990s, they were often matched with vintage Technics audio components, such as those from the SU-X range.

The speaker system comprises an 180mm cone woofer for lower frequencies and a 25mm dome tweeter for higher frequencies. The crossover is set at 2.5 kHz, ensuring a smooth transition between the drivers.

With a continuous power handling of 60W and a peak rating of 120W, these speakers are suitable for a variety of hi-fi setups. They present an impedance of 8 Ohms and offer a frequency response spanning from 43 Hz to 25 kHz, with a sensitivity of 85 dB. Each speaker measures 246mm wide, 422mm high, and 241mm deep, weighing 6 kg.
