The Rotel RA-1062 is an integrated stereo amplifier that builds upon the success of its highly regarded predecessor, the RA-1060. Extensive design work has focused on optimising component performance throughout the signal path to deliver an enhanced listening experience.

Key to these improvements is the custom-designed T-Network power supply capacitor, manufactured in the UK. These high-quality components feature micro-perforations in their foil, a design choice intended to minimise distortion. The T-Network capacitor also incorporates multiple connection points, effectively acting as several smaller capacitors within one unit. This configuration contributes to significantly reduced voltage intermodulation between input and output signals, resulting in a more detailed and accurate reproduction of music, particularly in the lower frequencies.

The RA-1062 offers a versatile range of inputs, including a dedicated Moving Magnet phono stage and connections for Tuner, Tape (1 and 2), CD, and Aux sources. For added convenience, it includes a 12-volt trigger, an IR remote input, and a headphone output. A balance control and a contour switch are also present, alongside the ability to select between two sets of loudspeakers.
