The Rega Apollo is a well-regarded CD player from the British manufacturer Rega Research, known for bringing audiophile performance to a more accessible price point. It quickly established itself as a capable performer, offering a sound quality often described as warm and analogue-like, a signature characteristic of Rega's design philosophy.

A standout feature is its manual top-loading mechanism, where discs are placed directly onto a central drive hub. The Apollo utilises a Wolfson WM8742 DAC chipset to convert digital signals to analogue.

The player is designed to optimise playback for every disc. Its custom software intelligently adjusts laser focus, error correction, and tracking by buffering the disc's data before playback begins. This process is indicated by the front panel displaying "Initialising". For placement, note that the top-loading lid requires approximately 160mm of vertical clearance.

- Manual top-loading mechanism
- Wolfson WM8742 DAC
- Stereo RCA analogue outputs
- Digital optical (Toslink) and coaxial outputs
- Supports Audio CD, CD-R, MP3, and WMA formats
