This is a pair of 2.5-metre QED Silver Special 25th Anniversary Edition speaker cables, fitted with QED Airloc banana connectors. Originally released to celebrate a significant milestone in audio cable design, this model has earned a strong reputation within the hi-fi community for its performance and value.

The cable features a quad-bunched conductor arrangement constructed from silver-plated, oxygen-free copper. This design is intended to minimise signal loss and contribute to detailed sound reproduction. The distinctive outer jacket is a pearl white finish, allowing the silver conductor strands to be visible.

The included QED Airloc banana connectors employ a solder-free "cold-weld" crimping method. This process creates a high-pressure connection between the cable conductors and the connector, forming a solid, air-tight joint designed to prevent oxidation and ensure consistent, low contact resistance over time. The connectors are gold-plated and feature a spring-loaded pin section designed to adapt to different binding post tolerances for a secure fit.
