The Pro-Ject Primary E Phono is an entry-level turntable designed for straightforward vinyl playback. It features an integrated phono pre-amplifier, allowing direct connection to active speakers or a standard AUX input on an amplifier. This eliminates the need for a separate external phono stage for basic setup.

Designed for ease of use, the tonearm's tracking force and anti-skate are factory-set, offering a true plug-and-play experience.

The turntable employs a belt-drive system for speed selection between 33.3 and 45 RPM, which is adjusted by manually repositioning the belt. The tonearm is constructed from lightweight aluminium and features sapphire bearings, complemented by a low-resonance composite fibre chassis.
