This Philips CDV475 is a multi-format optical disc player from approximately 1988, designed to play the now uncommon CD Video (CD-V) format. This format uniquely blended standard digital audio with analogue video content.

The player is of particular interest to enthusiasts of early home video and LaserDisc technology. It is capable of reading various disc sizes within the CD Video and LaserDisc family.

Beyond its CD-V capabilities, the CDV475 can also play standard audio CDs, functioning as a conventional compact disc player for your music collection.

- Plays 5-inch CD Video discs (audio and video)
- Accommodates 8-inch and 12-inch LaserDiscs
- Functions as a standard audio CD player
