The Musical Fidelity M2si is an analogue-only integrated stereo amplifier designed for those prioritising audio fidelity and build quality. By focusing resources on its core amplification, the M2si omits digital inputs, a phono stage, and a headphone output, allowing for superior internal componentry. This approach ensures a clean signal path and robust performance.

This amplifier delivers a substantial 72 Watts per channel into 8 Ohms, increasing to 137 Watts into 4 Ohms, with a peak current capability of 25 Amps. This allows it to effectively drive a wide range of loudspeakers, including those with demanding power requirements. The amplifier employs a Class A pre-amplifier stage coupled with a discrete Class A/B power amplifier section, supported by a substantial 280VA toroidal transformer.

Connectivity is provided via six line-level RCA inputs, one of which offers a Home Theatre bypass function. For system expansion, it includes a pair of RCA pre-outs, tape outputs, and sturdy speaker binding posts. The M2si is housed in a premium, all-metal chassis with an elegant aluminium fascia and solid metal controls.
