The Korg mini-KP Kaoss Pad Mini is a compact and versatile effects processor designed for creative sound manipulation. It offers a wide array of dynamic effects, all controllable via its intuitive touch-sensitive X/Y pad. This allows for real-time adjustment of effect parameters, making it suitable for live performance and studio production.

With 100 built-in effects, the mini-KP provides a broad sonic palette. These include resonant filters, decimators for sound mangling, looping capabilities for phrase manipulation, and BPM-synced effects like delays and LFO-driven filter sweeps. It also features synthesizer programs with X/Y control for pitch and filter, alongside combination effects such as delay and reverb.

The unit includes two memory buttons for saving favourite effect settings, and a tap button for synchronising BPM-based effects to your music. The FX Release function adds a BPM-synced delay tail, allowing sounds to fade naturally. It can be used in either "Direct" or "Send" modes, offering flexibility in signal routing. The Hold function lets you maintain an effect even after lifting your finger from the pad. Battery operation ensures portability, with an optional AC adapter also available.
