This is a KEF SP 1498 coaxial speaker driver, a 100mm (4-inch) unit designed for precise audio reproduction. It incorporates KEF's renowned Uni-Q technology, which places the tweeter at the heart of the mid-bass cone.

This coaxial arrangement ensures that the sound emanates from a single point, promoting superior stereo imaging and consistent sound dispersion. The driver operates at a 4-ohm impedance and features a stacked, vented neodymium magnet system for efficient performance within a compact design.

This particular driver was originally developed for use in the satellite speakers of the KEF KHT 2005.2 Home Theatre System.
