We are pleased to offer for sale this used Garrard DD450 Semi-Automatic Direct Drive Turntable.

It has been professionally repackaged to ensure safe delivery with power cable, RCA and grounding leads and turntable lid included.

This has been tested and is in full working order. It is sold with a 3 month warranty.

The general cosmetic condition is fair. There are some marks on the turntable, and the lid is heavily scratched. Please see images for further details.

The Garrard DD450 is a semi-automatic, direct-drive turntable, originally manufactured in England during the early 1980s. It was positioned as a competitive offering against the prominent Japanese models of the time, aiming to provide a solid performance for both entry-level and intermediate users.

This turntable features a direct-drive system powered by a servo-controlled, coreless DC motor, ensuring stable rotation speeds. The platter is constructed from die-cast aluminium, measuring 317mm in diameter. The unit is housed in a glass-filled polyester chassis, which sits upon suspension feet designed to minimise external vibrations.

The tonearm is a straight 9-inch design, complete with a standard, detachable headshell, allowing for easy cartridge replacement or upgrades.
