This is a Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 1700 stereo integrated amplifier, a classic piece of audio equipment originally manufactured between 1973 and 1977. Designed by Jacob Jensen, it offers a robust build and a distinctive aesthetic characteristic of its era. This unit is presented in black.
The BeoLab 1700 delivers a solid 2 x 20 watts RMS into 4-ohm loads, providing ample power for many home audio systems. It features a wide frequency response, ensuring faithful reproduction across the audible spectrum. The amplifier includes intuitive slider controls for precise adjustment of volume, bass, and treble, along with a balance control and a loudness button for enhanced listening at lower volumes.
Designed for versatility, the BeoLab 1700 can be powered by either 110-130V or 220-240V mains supplies. Its relatively compact dimensions and substantial weight suggest a well-constructed internal design.
