ATC manufactures its drivers in-house, adhering to strict tolerances and pioneering numerous design innovations. The short voice coils, hand-wound with high-density, edge-wound flat OFC wire, operate in a precisely crafted long magnetic gap. This unique construction, with front and rear magnetic venting, reduces airflow noise, enhances power handling, and promotes long-term reliability. The robust motor assemblies are optimised for each voice coil diameter, ensuring a no-compromise design.

The SCM19 speakers, designed with a studio-based perspective, deliver a neutral, highly articulate, and honest sound. They offer an even frequency response and manage to create a highly musical and engaging listening experience.

The speakers present a manageable load for amplifiers, though a larger amplifier (75 to 300 watts) is recommended. Designed for optimal performance without a grille, the SCM19 includes full-frontal perforated metal grilles in dark grey, if preferred.
