is Allen & Heath’s most advanced DJ mixer, designed with extensive research to enhance creative performance and ease of use. It features a dedicated FX section on each of its four channels, two Xone filters, and a range of professional DJ tools, making it ideal for club installations, mobile DJs, or home DJ setups.

Key Features

• Quad FX Core Processor: Each channel is equipped with an FX section powered by the Quad FX Core DSP engine, featuring BPM detection to automatically sync time-based effects and loops to the track’s tempo. The FX are categorised into delays, reverbs, resonators, modulators, and damage, each with multiple variations, dedicated dry/wet control, and expression knobs for precise control.
• 3-Band EQ and Filter Options: Each channel offers a 3-band EQ with two modes — asymmetric (+6dB/-26dB) or isolator (kill frequency, 24dB slope). EQ knobs change color based on mode, and can be reconfigured as high-pass/low-pass filters with adjustable resonance. A separate 2-band EQ is available for the Mic/Line input, which can be routed to main channels for additional effects processing.
• Advanced Looping: Each channel includes looping control for automatic looping of track segments from 1/16 beat up to four bars. The loop can be expanded or reduced for custom transitions.
• Dual Xone Filter System: Equipped with high-pass, band-pass, and low-pass filtering options and a resonance control that ranges from mild to intense, with filter sweeps from 20Hz to 20kHz.
• OLED Display: The bright OLED screen displays BPM, FX selection, and serves as an interface for menu setup functions, with rotary control for easy navigation.
• Integrated Soundcard and USB Connectivity: The built-in 24-bit/96kHz USB soundcard enables recording and playback with DJ software, while a USB port at the top of the mixer allows DJs to save their settings (BPM range, meter mode, USB routing, display brightness) for easy recall on any DB4 mixer — ideal for touring DJs.
• Comprehensive I/O Options: Includes four analogue line inputs (switchable to phono on channels 2 and 3), digital inputs on all channels, and USB inputs for use with digital DJ systems. The X
  port allows direct connection of a Xone
  series MIDI controller, freeing up USB ports on a laptop.
